What do you get when you combine two very talented artists who use two very different mediums to convey their work? A sensory overloaded night full of sights and sounds that will leave you spellbound.

The venue? Mynt Lounge.
The artist? Leonardo Hidalgo.
The DJ? Mr. Juicy himself, Robbie Rivera!

We’ve been to music festivals. We’ve been to pool parties. We’ve even been to Bunga Bunga parties (Don’t ask). We’ve never quite been to an art unveiling though, especially one that beautifully incorporated music as well. Now that we have, we are confident in saying that we would love to go again.

Let us paint the picture for you. Inside Mynt Lounge it was wall to wall colors. Clubs are generally regarded as dark places minus the light shows, but Mynt saw your light shows and upped it a ceiling full of colorful balloons and LCD TV plastered walls. Not to mention some of Leonardo’s work that welcomed you as you walked in. It really was a sight to behold.

But before the party could really get under way, they had to reveal what was behind the curtain. As it turns out it was a gorgeous portrait of the owner of Mynt, Romain Zago. The party then quickly picked up right back where it left off: Sexy beats.

As expected, Robbie Rivera dropped one of the hottest songs to come out of Miami during March, Mory Kante – Yeke Yeke 2011 (Robbie Rivera Mix)!

Every year we hear how amazing Juicy Beach is and tonight showcased exactly why that is. We’re not sure how many choices Leonardo Hidalgo had in terms of music, but he couldn’t have picked a better artist in Robbie Rivera to deliver one hell of a party in celebration of his latest masterpiece.

Looking at art in a stuffy old museum will never be the same again.
